Alelia Murphy (nee Stewart; born 6 July 1905) is a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography
Alelia was born in Grifton, North Carolina on 6 July 1905 as the daughter of John and Hattie Stewart. They had 12 children. She attended college in Grifton. She moved to New York in 1926 and married her husband Furd Murphy on 7 October the same year. She has two living children (Rose and Frederick). She has resided in Harlem for more than 60 years, and her favorite hobby was dancing.
Alelia went to limbo in September 2017.
