Clarence "Larry" Matthews (born 1 May 1906) is an American supercentenarian and the oldest known living man in America, following the death of Frank Levingston on 3 May 2016.
Clarence Francis Matthews was born on 1 May 1906 in Oakland, Alameda County, California as the son of Frank and Maryanne Matthews. He married Barbara Hischier in Oakland on 9 June 1931. The couple had two children. After Barbara died, Clarence married his second wife, Kay, whom he has also outlived. Clarence Matthews currently lives in Indian Wells, California.
