Clara Edith Freehling (née Negley; 12 September 1883 – 29 December 1993) was an American woman notable for her longevity. She was born in Jefferson, Butler, Pennsylvania on 12 September 1883 as the daughter of Daniel and Mary Martin Negley. Five of her six siblings lived to the age of 95 or older. She married Herman Freehling in the early 1910s and had two children, Catherine and George. She was widowed in 1951. Clara Edith Freehling died in Hendersonville, Henderson, North Carolina on 29 December 1993, aged 110 years, 108 days.
