Ella Ille Juliana Rentel (née Galinat) (Lithuanian birth name - Julijana Galinaicu) (19 May 1852 - 19 September 1962) was a verified Lithuanian-born German supercentenarian. She was born in the Russian Empire, present-day Lithuania, on 19 May 1852. She is believed to have been the oldest person in Europe at the time of her death in West Germany on 19 September 1962 at age 110 years, 123 days. Her age was verified by the Gerontology Research Group in 2009. She is one of the few validated supercentenarians who were born in the territory of modern Lithuania.
In 2009, after her validation, she was considered to have been the oldest living person in the world in 1962. However, subsequent research has revealed that Ella Ille Rentel was one year younger than Mary Kelly who outlived her by more than two years.
