Antonia Plaat-Kolenbrander (6 January 1898 – 9 March 2008) was a validated Dutch supercentenarian. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest person in The Netherlands, behind Grietje Jansen-Anker.

Biography

Antonia Plaat-Kolenbrander was born as Antonia Kolenbrander in Utrecht, Netherlands on 6 January 1898 to parents Andries Jacobus Kolenbrander (1872–1951) and Gijsberta Antonia Beuker (1872–1946). On 2 September 1921, when she was 23 years old, she married 26-years-old Jacob Dirk Plaat (7 March 1895 – 24 April 1965) in The Hague, South-Holland, Netherlands, with whom she would have two children. When her husband died, they were married for 43 years.

On 6 January 2006, when Mrs. Plaat-Kolenbrander became 108 years old, it was mentioned that at the time, she was the third-oldest person in The Netherlands, behind Alexandrina van Donkelaar-Vink and Grietje Jansen-Anker. When Mrs. van Donkelaar-Vink passed away on 19 May 2006, she became the second-oldest living person in The Netherlands.

Antonia Plaat-Kolenbrander passed away on 9 March 2008 in The Hague, Netherlands, at the age of 110 years, 63 days.
