Bernard "Bernie" Nenner (4 May 1907 – 13 November 2017) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). He is the 4th oldest man ever from Florida behind Johnson Parks John McMorran and Ernest Pusey
Biography
Bernard Nenner was born in New York to Austrian parents on 4 May 1907. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and his first job was as a telegraph boy. During World War II, he worked on an aircraft carrier. He moved to Florida in 1950 and started a dry cleaning business.
In 1928 Nenner married Sophie Bergman in Brooklyn, New York and they were married for 65 years until her death in 1993. He remarried in 2003 and was widowed again a decade later. When he turned 110 in May 2017, he was living in a senior care facility in Parkland, Florida, and had two living children, both in their 80s. he became the oldest living man in Florida upon the death of Bill Sheetz
