Frederique Noel [French: Frédérique Noël] (19 June 1868 – 14 April 1979) was a French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in France.

Biography[]

Frederique Noel was born in Paris, Ile-de-France, France on 19 June 1868. She had taught French at the court of the Habsburgs under Francois Joseph II.

She became the oldest known living person in France following the death of 111-year-old Marie-Virginie Duhem on 25 April 1978.

Noel died at the 'Château de Brulys' retirement home in Vulaines-sur-Seine, Seine-et-Marne, Ile-de-France, France on 14 April 1979 at the age of 110 years, 299 days.
