Gladys Bessie Terrill (née Caster; 12 September 1905 – 23 December 2016) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Missouri.
Biography[]
Gladys Terrill was born as Gladys Bessie Caster in Texas County, Missouri, United States on 12 September 1905 to Thomas and Lula White Caster. The family briefly lived in Bartel, Oklahoma during her childhood. She married Clarence Terrill. The couple had a son, who died in infancy and a daughter Alberta (married Copeland).
She lived the majority of her adult life on their family farm near Raymondville in Texas County, Missouri.
Terrill died in Lebanon, Missouri, USA on 23 December 2016, at the age of 111 years, 102 days.
