Ida Beatrice Tallin (née Rosen; 25 September 1905 – 5 August 2016) was a Polish-American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Ida Tallin was born as Ida Beatrice Rosen in Russian Empire (present-day Poland) on 25 September 1905. Her parents were Abraham and Sarah Rosen. In 1907, her family emigrated to Maine, United States. In 1925, she graduated from the University of Southern Maine and some time after that her family moved to New York.
She married Benjamin Tallin in Bronx, New York, USA on 9 November 1930. The couple had at least two children: Carol, and Richard.
Tallin died in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, USA on 5 August 2016 at the age of 110 years, 315 days.
