Laurence Kimball Thompson (23 January 1887 – 24 October 1998) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). He is the oldest known man and person ever born in Hawaii.

Biography[]

Laurence Thompson was born on 23 January 1887 in Kohala, Hawaii (then Kingdom of Hawaii) to parents Lyman (1845-1915) and Grace (née Kimball; 1861-1899) Thompson.

Laurence married 3 times. His first wife was Eva Blum. She passed away shortly after they married. His 2nd wife was Florence Goss, who he married on 25 December 1931 in Laguna Beach, California, but later divorced. He had a son with her, Richard Edwin Thompson III. He married his 3rd wife, Georgia Stallings, sometime after 1940, but possibly in 1954 in Florida.

Laurence Thompson died in Rancho Bernardo, California, USA on 24 October 1998 at the age of 111 years, 274 days.
