May Nutt (née Smith; 21 October/November 1876 – 29 January 1987) was a validated American supercentenarian. She is verified as being born on 21 October, but her birth record says she was born on 21 November.
Biography[]
May Nutt was born May Smith in Cleveland, Ohio, as the daughter of Frank and Margaret (née Rowe) Smith. She married Albert J. Nutt in Mahoning, Ohio, on 23 October 1901. May was widowed by 1940. She moved into the Sunset House in Toledo, Ohio, and lived there for the rest of her life.
May Nutt died on 29 January 1987 in the Sunset House aged 110 years, 100 days (or 69 days depending on which month she was born in).
