Toshiko Tsuda [Japanese: 津田俊子] (28 January 1905 – fl. 1 June 2016) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Tsuda was born in Hakodate, Hokkaido Prefecture. Her parents were originally from Tokyo. At the age of 5, she moved to Shinagawa, Tokyo. She attended a mission school. One of her brothers died shortly after birth. She had four other brothers (all younger) and two sisters. She had never been sick in her youth. She once had a broken knee. At the age of 104, she had a surgery. She had a fracture of the femur neck. At age of 106, she was still able to walk with pick-up walker. Her age was validated by the GRG on 29 January 2016.
Tsuda lived in Higashimurayama, Tokyo, Japan. Tsuda was last reported alive on 1 June 2016, at the age of 111 years, 125 days.
