Evelyn Ada Zoe Hiehle (née Garside; 19 August 1879 – 25 August 1989) was a British-born American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Zoe Hiehle was born as Evelyn Ada Zoe Garside in Torquay, Devon, England on 19 August 1879. She was the daughter of Firth and Catherine Jackson Garside. She emigrated to Canada in September 1913, where she married Arno Hiehle. They moved to California a few years later. The couple had three children: Michael, Grace, and Jack.
Zoe Hiehle died in Walnut Creek, California on 25 August 1989, at the age of 110 years, 6 days.
