Florence Alice Antoinette Carroll (née Brunese) (born 9 June 1907) is an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She is one of the oldest known living people in Connecticut, USA.
Florence Carroll was born Florence Brunese in Millerton, New York, USA on 9 June 1907 to Italian-born parents Paul Emile Brunese and Mary Ann Brunese. As a young adult, she was a professional cook in Lakeville, Connecticut. She married John Carroll on 9 February 1930 and had nine children with him: Thomas, Joseph, Richard, Marian Ursula, John, Alan, Philip, William, and Jean.
As of her 107th birthday in 2014, four of her children (Thomas, Joseph, Richard, and Marian Ursula) were deceased. Florence also had 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Her hobbies were birdwatching and gardening. On her 110th birthday in 2017, the Today Show included her in their list of people celebrating a milestone.
