Gertrude Stunkel (née Reents; 28 January 1868? – 20 June 1979) was an American woman notable for her longevity.
Gertrude was born in Secor, Illinois as Gertjen Gerdes Reents to German immigrants Epke and Antje Dirks Reents. She married Maurice Stunkel in Benson, Illinois on 26 January 1890 and had six children, five of whom she outlived. She was widowed in 1933.
Gertrude Stunkel died in Rockford, Illinois on 20 June 1979, aged 111 years, 143 days. Her case is currently unverified.
