Jean Ley (10 February 1903 – 20 February 2013) was a Luxembourgian supercentenarian. He is the first supercentenarian and the oldest verified person ever from Luxembourg. At the time of death, he was one of the 15 oldest living men in the world.
Life
Ley lived in Ettelbrück for all his life. He lived his final days at the nursing home "Sacré Coeur" in Diekirch and was a widower since 2000 after 69 years of marriage. On his 110th birthday, he was visited by Luxembourg's Family Minister Marie-Josée Jacobs and the mayor of Ettelbrück. He died just 10 days later.
