Khrystyna Nahorna (1 July 1900? – 5 November 2017) claimed to be 117 and was said to be Ukraine's oldest living person. Her date of birth, July 1, is a manufactured date for all villagers in her village.
At the time of her birth, Ukraine was part of the Russian Empire.
Following the death of 117-year-old Violet Brown on 15 September 2017, she became a claimant to be the oldest living person in the world (claiming to be older than Nabi Tajima).
