Lorenzo Malori (27 August 1724 – 16 March 1830) was an Italian centenarian and the first person verified to reach the ages of 104 and 105.
Biography[]
Malori was born in Italy on 27 August 1724. He became the oldest person ever upon surpassing Bartholomew Johnson's age of 103 years, 127 days on 2 January 1828. His record would stand for just a few months, before being broken by Marie-Louise Plante. He died in the Comunello di Campora, Municipality of Neviano degli Arduini, Italy at the age of 105 years, 201 days, and would remain the oldest man and person ever until August 13, 1834, when Pierre Darcourt surpassed him in age.
