Longevity claimant

Matilda Rogers, also known as Aunt Sis (née Duckett; 2 October 1850?/1853 – 15 September 1963) was an American supercentenarian claimant.

She was born as Bertha Matilda Duckett in Fines Creek, North Carolina as the daughter of Hiram and Eliza Downs Duckett. Matilda married Robert N. Rogers in Fines Creek, North Carolina and the couple had ten children.

Later in life Matilda received nationwide attention due to her claimed longevity. Matilda Rogers died in Haywood, North Carolina on 15 September 1963, supposedly aged 112 years, 348 days.

Her age claim is contradicted by an 1860 US Census match stating her having been six years old at the time.
