Matsu Uechi (11 December 1903? – 10 February 2014) was a unverified Japanese-Brazilian supercentenarian.[1] [2]


Matsu Uechi was born on 11 December 1903 in Nago, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. She migrated to Brazil in 1922. In 1925, she married Kankiti Uechi. The couple had seven children in total, two of whom died after childbirth. Kankiti Hiroshikichi died at the age of 51 years. 

Uechi died on 10 February 2014 at the age of 110 years, 61 days in São Paulo, Brazil. Uechi was survived by four childrens, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchildren. At the time of her death, she was the second oldest living person in Brazil, after Alida Victoria Grubba Rudge
