Mie Ishiguro (2 June 1888 – 14 August 2001) was Japan's oldest person for just over two years (although she was thought to be Japan's second-oldest person at the time, due to the Kamato Hongo case not yet being debunked). She was also the oldest person ever from the island of Hokkaido (although later her record was passed by Hatsue Ono).
Ishiguro was a hairdresser in the city of Yubari. She spent the last 11 years of her life hospitalized after a leg injury. She died of pneumonia at the age of 113 years, 73 days.
