Nugi Ikeda [ 池田ヌギ ] (1 April 1904 – 8 June 2016) was a validated Japanese supercentenarian, who was, at the time of her death, the oldest living person in Saga Prefecture.
Biography
She was born in Nagasaki Prefecture on 1 April 1904. She married Mankichi Ikeda. She said that the secret of her long life was eating delicious food and sleeping at any time.
She lived in Misakisho Nursing Home, Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. Nugi Ikeda passed away on 8 June 2016 at age of 112 years, 68 days.
