Nui Sonoda (1906 – 22 February 2017) was a Japanese supercentenarian that is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She may have been the oldest known woman in Hokkaido prefecture at the time of her death.

Biography

Nui Sonoda was born on an unreported date in 1906. She was reported in September 2016 as an anonymous woman who was the second-oldest person in Hokkaido prefecture, after Masazo Nonaka.

Nui Sonoda passed away on 22 February 2017 in Ishikari City, Hokkaido, Japan, at the age of 110 years, 53-364 days.
