Oscar Coulembier (31 December 1905 – 20 December 2014) was a Belgian centenarian who was the oldest man in Belgium from the death of Jan Goossenaerts on 21 March 2012 until his own death on 20 December 2014.

Biography

Oscar Joseph Leon Coulembier was born on 31 December 1905 in Luxembourg, Belgium. After World War 1 he moved to Furnes, and then to Ypres. He later married Yvonne Decan, who he ran a liquor store with. The couple had 4 children. Yvonne died in 1987 aged 80. He became the oldest man in the Benelux following the passing of Jean Ley on 20 February 2013.

Oscar Coulembier died on 20 December 2014 at the age of 108 years, 354 days following a rapid decline in his health. After his death, Belgium's oldest man was Aime Wille, born 1 March 1909.
