RankBrasil - Records Brazilian is an entity that registers and homologates Brazilian records, with national and international recognition.

Known as the "book of Brazilian records", it is the only system of homologation of exclusively Brazilian records.

Created in 1999, the entity is not linked to the Guinness World Records, and although it uses similar standards to record records, it has its own system of approval. For example: Maria Olivia da Silva is recognized by RankBrasil as being 130 years old, but not by the Guinness World Records, which would make her the woman who lived the longest in history.

It should be noted that no scientific authority has supported the claim of Maria Olivia da Silva to be "130", and that her age claim is eight years beyond the all-time proven record.
