Sina Hayes (née Joyner) (27 June 1903 – 22 January 2016) was a verified American supercentenarian who was believed to be North Carolina's oldest resident and the sixth-oldest person in the United States at the time of her passing.


Sina Gertrude Joyner was born on a small farm in Iredell County, North Carolina, on 27 June 1903. She was one of ten children. She married Raleigh Hayes in 1922, with whom she had three sons. They were married until Raleigh's death in 1993 at the age of 92. She worked at a knitting mill for more than 30 years, where she mainly made infant sleepwear.

She moved to a retirement community in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 1994. She died on 22 January 2016 at the age of 112 years, 209 days. At the time of her death, she had eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
