Tari Chiba (born 19 January 1907) is a Japanese supercentenarian whose claim is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She is one of the oldest known living people in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan.
Tari Chiba was born on 19 January 1907 in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. She moved to Rikubetsu, Hokkaido Prefecture at a young age. She married Masayoshi Chiba in the 1920s and had 11 children (five boys and six girls) with him. The couple were married for 80 years before Masayoshi passed away. As of her 111th birthday in 2018, she has 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
