Therese Josephine Ladigue (née Terrier; 15 February 1903 – 5 February 2016) was a verified French supercentenarian who was the second-oldest living person in France, after Eudoxie Baboul, at the time of her death. Since Baboul resided in an overseas department on the South American continent, Ladigue was the oldest person living in Metropolitan France.

She was born in Lyon, France, on 15 February 1903. Her father worked as a chauffeur and her mother was a seamstress. Thérèse herself wanted to become a teacher, but ended up working at a papermill and later as a secretary. On 18 August 1923, she married Louis Gabriel Salvat. The couple had a daughter named Janine, who at age 85 is currently living in the same nursing home as her mother (Residence Chateâu, Therese moved there in 2014). Therese divorced her husband and remarried in 1952, this time to Julien Albert Ladigue.

At age 112, she was described as mentally sharp, although certain signs of her age, such as bad hearing, were appearent. Therese Ladigue died on 5 February 2016 at the age of 112 years, 355 days.[1][2]
