Torbjorn Overbo [Norwegian: Torbjørn Øverbø] (born 22 August 1909) is a Norwegian centenarian who is the oldest living person in Norway after the death of Ragnhild Haugen on 28 March 2017.
Biography
Torbjorn Overbo was born in Lom in the municipality of Oppland, Norway. He's the last survivor of eleven siblings. He's described as vigorous by family and friends.
Overbo currently lives in a retirement home in Ringsaker, Hedmark, where he, during the celebration of his 107th birthday, stated that he enjoys his residency there: I am very pleased with how it is here. The help I get, the food they serve and how everyone is here. Here, it is very nice. It's also nice that there are so many here today. Overbo has reached such age because he has driven agriculture all his life and likes to keep being active. He walks daily in the hallways at his retirement home and has always been happy to move on.
