Yoshigiku Ito (3 August 1856 – 26 November 1966) was a validated Japanese supercentenarian.

Biography

Yoshigiku Ito was born in Japan on 3 August 1856 and passed away in Japan on 26 November 1966 at the age of 110. At the time of her death she was the world's oldest living woman.[1] She was succeeded as the world's oldest living woman by Johanna Booysen. She remained the Japanese recordholder until Mito Umeta surpassed her age in 1973.
